2024 has been a remarkable year for EasyPeasy. As I reflect on our journey, I am both proud and inspired by the progress we’ve made alongside our local partners in supporting parents, carers, and early years practitioners to give babies and young children the best possible start in life. At EasyPeasy, our mission is clear: to close the gap in school readiness and help every child thrive, no matter their background.
This year, our impact has grown substantially and we’ve reached thousands more families across England with our evidence-based programme. Parents and the home environment play a fundamental role in shaping children’s early outcomes. Research consistently shows that parent-child interaction and attunement are critical for early development. That’s why we are so proud to empower parents and caregivers to grow their confidence, deepen their knowledge of child development, and create vibrant, positive, and supportive home learning environments.
Yet, we know the work is far from done. Meeting the needs of families—especially in underserved communities—requires sustained collaboration, investment, and a test-and-learn approach. These efforts benefit not only individual children and families but also strengthen the fabric of society as a whole.
As we look to 2025, we are excited to continue supporting our local partners and the communities they serve. With a shared national commitment to improving school readiness, we aim to expand our reach, deepen partnerships, and build on the progress we’ve made to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
